Pupuseria Maribel Reviews

This place is really good and great value. Got some pupusa's and breakfast. Will come back and try more food soon.

I love this place!! I've had a lot of Pupusa's and soup Mariscada! Hands down the best in town! If your in Houston anywhere and you want some genuine Seafood Soup and or Pupusa I strongly recommend!!

Came to try this place for the first time and it was shockingly really good. I had the bkfst eggs with bistek with fried platano and it was very tasty! It came with handmade tortillas which was just delicious! Definitely suggest you give this place a try!

My husband wanted Menudo , so we went to this place for a traditional Sunday bowl. The tortillas were homemade, puffy and looked like flour tortillas but the corn taste was delicious. The soup was plentiful with lots of large pieces of tripe which were perfectly tender and delicious. The only minor issue was that there was no posole (hominy), but this was compensated for by all that tripe. It was served with chopped cilantro, onions and jalapeno. The owner was there and was very friendly and attentive. I look forward to trying their pupusa!

Pupusas are not easy to come by in Houston and specially this good and this cheap, everything is good and everything is fairly priced not like other places that know they can charge more because there are not a lot of places serving what they sell.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past but my husband and I were hungry after our workout and decided to try it out. Cozy little spot with friendly servers. Excellent pupusas and aguas frescas (we had the horchata & tamirindo mmmmmmm!). Hot fresh and large portions. We're letting our families know and are definitely going back. :)
